Cabinets!!!

I can't even tell you how excited I am right now. The cabinets got installed today and they're everything I was hoping they'd be. It's amazing how quickly the room transformed from four walls into a kitchen. Agan Cabinetry did a great job. Now we just need some paint, a floor, and some counters and we'll be set! Oh, and appliances, lights, and a faucet, too!

The final product.

That's where the stove will go.

These doors are from my Great Grandma Ilda's kitchen!!

The flour bin. (The fridge goes next to it)

We'll add glass and hardware to the doors after they get painted.

Ooooh they are beautiful! I want to come see them. How fun to pick out exactly what you wanted like the flour bin. So how does that work, do you just put a Costco-size bag of flour in there or what?

Yay! So exciting! I can't wait to come see them. We enjoyed seeing the pictures throughout the morning on mom's phone. She was pretty addicted to her phone that morning. I love the "dog food" bin! Can't wait for you to have a dog to go with it. :)

And Happy Birthday, Jose!!

Wow, it looks great! I like the sink you picked out. And I can't believe that you were able to incorporate Grandma Ilda's cupboards into the mix. Such a nice touch.

Yeah, I really love that I could use Grandma Ilda's doors in the design. It makes it a lot more personal. There was a glitch though halfway through the construction and he called to tell me the doors weren't going to work. I was pretty sad, but he figured out a way to do it!

And Molly's probably right. More than likely I'll end up using the flour bin for a big bag of dog food. Jose and I actually do want to start baking bread a lot, but I'm not sure I could actually use all the flour fast enough if it filled that thing up! I just really wanted one, even if it wasn't 100% practical!
